Job Summary:

About the Role & Team: 

The Corporate Brand Strategy team develops comprehensive and relevant brand & franchise strategies informed by quantitative and qualitative analysis to guide strategic decision-making across the enterprise globally.  

We collaborate with business units around the world to conduct opportunity assessments, diagnose business challenges, formulate actionable strategies, and measure key outcomes. 

Our team is comprised of strategists who deploy a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods across all of our projects. A few examples: 

  • Provide thought leadership to the Chief Brand Officer on the state of our brands and franchises and key opportunities for growth  
  • Support business unit leadership by identifying key business drivers and areas for continued improvement 
  • Develop brand and franchise growth strategies for specific markets and consumer segments 
  • Size potential for new business opportunities 
     

This internship is a full-time, three-month commitment in the Burbank, California area from June-August 2026.

   

What You Will Do: 

  • Lead workstreams and small projects, with support from team leaders 
  • Provide strategic support on projects such as developing hypotheses, running data-driven analyses, and developing and measuring success criteria 
  • Synthesize data and insights across multiple sources into clear, data-backed recommendations presented in a story-driven business deck 
  • Conduct analyses and run calculations on quantitative recommendations – e.g., calculating size of market or size of opportunity 
  • Present findings and work with partners across the enterprise to answer important business questions 

  

Example Projects: 

  • Engage in thought leadership projects such as articulating the key opportunities for growth with a specific demo (e.g., kids 6-11) and recommended actions 
  • Analyze core business questions such as: Who are TWDC fans? What is the size of the preschool entertainment market? What is the right positioning for this franchise? 
  • Articulate strength of various TWDC IP, including what elements resonate with consumers 

  

Required Qualifications & Skills: 

  • Prior Industry-relevant experience, as defined by one or more of the following:
    1. Strategic or Management Consulting at a top-tier management consulting firm 
    2. Strategy or analytics within a media, technology or consumer packaged goods company 
    3. Brand or Franchise management in consumer-focused company (not B2B) 
     
  • ​2 or more years prior experience in an internal strategy, management consulting, or analytics role  
  • Exceptional and demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to draw business insights from data and interpret real-world applications 
  • Experience creating presentations that clearly communicate a cohesive story using information and data from multiple sources 
  • Excellent project management and prioritization skills with an ability to execute quality work with tight deadlines while managing several projects simultaneously 
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Keynote 


Education: 

  • Graduated from an accredited college or university with a BA/BS 
  • Currently enrolled in an MBA program

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a MBA degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
  • Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization

Additional Information: 

  • The approximate dates of this internship are June through August 2026
  • Candidate must be available to work full-time hours Monday through Friday (approximately 40 hours per week) for the duration of the internship 
  • Able to provide own housing and transportation in the Burbank/Glendale area 

The pay rate for this role in California is $41.40 per hour.
