Disneyland® Resort Public Affairs Intern, Spring 2027

About the Role & Program
The Disneyland® Resort Communications & Public Affairs team helps tell the stories behind the magic while protecting and enhancing the resort’s reputation. Our work spans media relations, community engagement, government relations, internal communications, public relations, and executive communications.
As a Public Affairs Intern, you'll gain hands-on experience supporting teams across Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Government Relations, Resort Communications, and the Disneyland Resort Ambassador Program. You'll contribute to meaningful projects, create engaging content, support community initiatives, and help bring events and experiences to life, while learning from experienced professionals and gaining exposure to a wide range of communications and public affairs work across the Disneyland Resort.
This full-time, six-month internship is based in Anaheim, California, from January 2027 through June 2027.
What You Will Do
- Support the integrated planning, communication, and execution of events with internal teams, community partners, nonprofits, and key stakeholders.
- Help coordinate VIP and stakeholder visits, including unique behind-the-scenes Disneyland Resort experiences.
- Partner with Government Relations and Corporate Citizenship teams to support community programs, sponsorships, and nonprofit partnerships.
- Support department-wide initiatives through project coordination, event planning, and stakeholder engagement.
- Respond to inquiries and keep projects moving across multiple teams while building valuable relationships across the Disneyland Resort and beyond.
- Support the Disneyland Resort Ambassador Program through content creation, communications, and event coordination.

- Have experience supporting events, community programs, or campus organizations. Familiarity with CyberGrants, Smartsheet, Airtable, or similar tools is a plus.
Education
- Senior year preferred
- Pursuing a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information
Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all the requirements below
- Be enrolled in an accredited college/university, pursuing a degree, taking at least one class at the time of application, OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
- Have not completed one year of continuous employment on a Disney Internship or Disney College Program.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Possess unrestricted work authorization.
Additional Information
- The approximate dates of this internship are January 2027 through June 2027.
- Fully available Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM Pacific Time Zone, for the duration of the internship (40 hours per week).
- Be aligned with The Disney Look appearance guidelines.
- Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program in the Anaheim, California, area.
- Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work.
