Job Summary:

Join the Disney Advertising Sales team in Madrid and play a key role in driving revenue growth for Disney Junior, Disney’s digital platforms (including YouTube and social media), and Disney+. This position is responsible for increasing advertising investment from agencies, advertisers, and Disney brand partners by leveraging strong knowledge of television, digital media, and Disney advertising solutions.

The role focuses on building and managing relationships with leading agencies and direct clients in Spain, developing strong partnerships across the industry. A major priority will be monetising the advertising-supported tier of Disney+.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the Spanish television market and the ability to position Disney+ as a leading platform in the connected television space.

This is a Fixed Term Position for 9 months and will require the candidate to be 4 days a week at the office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive advertising revenue for Disney Junior, Disney’s digital platforms, and Disney+ through standard advertising and custom content partnerships across all platforms.
  • Generate revenue from both external and internal partners.
  • Identify opportunities for partners to invest in Disney’s digital commercial platforms.
  • Provide accurate revenue forecasts and reports to senior management.
  • Develop new business pitches with top-level agency contacts.
  • Stay informed about market trends and use this knowledge to shape sales strategies.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to ensure campaigns are delivered effectively and efficiently, providing best-in-class service to clients.

Experience and Qualifications

  • University degree or equivalent experience.
  • At least five years of experience in the Spanish media industry, including connected television platforms and services.
  • Proven success in delivering revenue growth through television, connected television, and digital campaigns.
  • Experience working with both clients and agencies.
  • Strong knowledge of multi-media platforms, including digital and television.
  • Excellent understanding of the media buying and planning process for digital platforms.
  • Outstanding presentation and communication skills.

Additional Information

  • Fluent in English.
  • Relevant degree preferred.
