The Senior Product Manager, Product Optimization & Experimentation will report to the Manager, Product Management.

About The Role & Team:

The Senior Product Manager, Product Optimization & Experimentation will help shape and scale experimentation across Disney Experiences digital platforms, including web and mobile app experiences. As part of the Digital Product Optimization Center of Excellence, this role will define the product strategy, roadmap, operating model, and partner experience for experimentation services that support a broad range of product domains, including commerce and Guest experience. This role will serve as a strategic partner to product managers, analysts, designers, engineers, data scientists, and business leaders. The ideal candidate combines strong product management skills with experimentation expertise, analytical fluency, and the ability to create clarity and influence decisions in a highly matrixed environment.

What You'll Do:

  • Evolve experimentation from an individual test service into a scalable product enablement capability with clear offerings, intake processes, service levels, and partner engagement models.
  • Partner with Product, Analytics, Data Science, Design, Engineering, and business teams to identify, scope, prioritize, and deliver high-impact experiments.
  • Lead experimentation roadmap planning across multiple product domains, balancing Guest impact, business value, strategic alignment, effort, feasibility, and learning potential.
  • Guide partners through experiment strategy and design, including problem definition, hypothesis formation, audience selection, success and guardrail metrics, power analysis, duration estimation, and results interpretation.
  • Translate stakeholder needs and business opportunities into clear product requirements, user stories, workflows, and backlog priorities.
  • Establish and continuously improve experimentation standards, governance, documentation, templates, playbooks, and operating practices.
  • Identify opportunities to embed experimentation and evidence-based decision-making earlier in product discovery, planning, development, launch, and optimization.
  • Contribute to the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and success measures for experimentation capabilities and services.
  • Partner with Engineering and Analytics teams to improve experimentation platforms, data quality, measurement capabilities, workflows, and automation.
  • Use digital analytics, behavioral analytics, qualitative insights, and experiment results to identify trends, uncover opportunities, and influence product priorities.
  • Develop business cases for investments in experimentation tooling, infrastructure, capabilities, and staffing.
  • Monitor portfolio performance and communicate the value, health, roadmap, outcomes, and learnings of the experimentation portfolio to technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leaders.
  • Build a culture of experimentation through education, consultation, storytelling, thought leadership, and ongoing partner engagement.
  • Stay current with experimentation, optimization, product management, analytics, AI, and digital experience trends, applying relevant practices to improve program effectiveness and scale.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of product management, product optimization, experimentation strategy, digital analytics, or related experience.
  • Demonstrated experience defining product strategy, building roadmaps, managing backlogs, writing requirements, and leading initiatives through discovery, delivery, launch, measurement, and iteration.
  • Strong working knowledge of A/B testing and experimentation principles, including hypothesis development, experimental design, statistical power, minimum detectable effect, success metrics, guardrail metrics, and test interpretation.
  • Experience with experimentation and digital analytics platforms such as Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics, Optimizely, Contentsquare or comparable tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to use quantitative and qualitative data to identify opportunities, prioritize investments, and shape product decisions.
  • Experience translating complex analytical or technical concepts into clear recommendations for non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to lead complex initiatives spanning Product, Engineering, Design, Analytics, Data Science, and business teams.
  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to connect individual experiments and operational improvements to broader product, Guest, and business outcomes.
  • Experience creating scalable processes, operating models, prioritization frameworks, and partner engagement practices.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, facilitation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and experimentation workstreams in a matrixed, cross-functional environment.
  • Experience with Agile product development practices and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, create clarity, influence without direct authority, and drive ideas into action.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting e-commerce, travel, hospitality, entertainment, or consumer digital products.
  • Experience leading or contributing to an experimentation Center of Excellence or enterprise experimentation program.
  • Experience with web and mobile app product ecosystems.
  • Familiarity with behavioral analytics, customer journey analytics, SQL, Tableau, Contentsquare, or similar tools.
  • Experience developing business cases for investments in platforms, tooling, infrastructure, or team capabilities.
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled workflows, automation, or agentic solutions that improve experimentation quality, efficiency, or time to insight.
  • Experience developing experimentation education, documentation, templates, playbooks, or enablement programs.
  • Understanding of UX and conversion optimization practices, digital design systems, and accessibility considerations.

Required Education:
