About the team

Disney Digital Entertainment is building the technology behind the next generation of interactive Disney experiences. Our Platform Tech team creates the foundations that product teams build on, from Unreal Engine and UEFN technology to backend services, tools, integrations, and shared platforms.

As our team continues to grow, we're expanding our production team and looking for an additional Producer to support our team.

We're a collaborative team that works across a wide range of technologies, disciplines, and partners around the world. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys bringing people together, creating clarity out of complexity, and helping teams turn ideas into reality.

As a Producer, you'll work closely with engineers, engineering managers, and stakeholders across Disney to keep projects organized, dependencies visible, and teams focused on the work that matters most. You'll coordinate work across multiple teams and time zones, helping ensure information flows smoothly and projects keep moving forward.

This role reports to the Senior Producer, Platform Tech.

Curious what it's like to work with us? One of our engineers describes the work and culture of our Platform team in this Life at Disney story: Leveling Up Video Gaming Experiences at Disney.

What You Will Do

  • Help our teams stay organized, aligned, and focused on the work that matters most.
  • Partner with engineering managers and technical leads to plan, track, and deliver work.
  • Run team ceremonies, track actions and dependencies, and help remove blockers before they become bigger issues.
  • Maintain Jira boards, project plans, team documentation, and status reporting.
  • Coordinate work across teams and keep stakeholders informed as projects move forward.
  • Support procurement-related workflows, including purchase requests, purchase orders, and invoice tracking.
  • Continuously look for ways to improve team processes, visibility, and collaboration. Ensure our workflows and processes are designed to support AI-enabled ways of working.

What You Bring

  • Experience as a producer, project manager, or in a similar role supporting software, game development, or technical teams.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to keep multiple workstreams moving forward while working across both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Comfort working with engineers, stakeholders, and partner teams to coordinate work, manage dependencies, and remove blockers.
  • A collaborative mindset and a practical approach to solving problems.
  • The ability to stay organized and focused when priorities change and work is moving quickly.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and with project management tools
  • Experience working with procurement processes
  • Experience working with live services, backend platforms, game development, or Unreal Engine teams
  • Experience in a distributed or remote-first environment

Where You Will Be

This role is remote. You can work from Sweden, Denmark, Norway, or Finland.

Travel may be required a few times per year, typically 2-4 trips annually, depending on business needs. Travel may include destinations within the Nordics as well as other countries.
