As a Conservation Education Presenter with the Animals, Science & Environment team at Disney's Animal Kingdom, you will inspire future generations to take action to care for our planet. As a part of a high-energy, fast-paced front-line team you will engage with Guests of all ages as they discover the magic of nature.
Program Length:
The dates of this internship are January 5, 2027 to June 24, 2027. Participants must be fully available for the entire duration of the internship. No exceptions will be made.

Responsabilités:
On a typical day you will…
- Actively invite Guests to connect with animals and conservation topics at Wilderness Explorer Troop Leader locations and select animal habitats throughout the park
- Share information about animals and the natural world using fun and engaging storytelling techniques
- Empower thousands of Guests to positively impact wildlife and take conservation action
Qualifications nécessaires:
All Candidates must meet these guidelines:
- Be receptive to Disney Look appearance guidelines
- Possess unrestricted US work authorization for the duration of the program (Disney does not sponsor visas for the Disney College Program.)
- Be receptive to exposure to outside elements including heat and/or humidity, cold temperatures, wet conditions, and prolonged standing/walking
- Be willing to follow all cleaning and disinfecting procedures in the work area including handling cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Additional personal protective equipment (face shields, goggles, refillable hand sanitizers, etc.) may be required.
- Personal passion for conservation and wildlife, as well as a passion for sharing insight and knowledge of wildlife conservation with others
- Strong interpersonal skills including the desire to interact with children and families from all over the world
- Experience or interest in teaching or presenting in a formal or informal learning environment
- Ability to work as part of a diverse, high-performing team in a feedback-rich environment
- Ability to regularly work weekends and holidays, outdoors for 8+ hours per day, and in all weather conditions including extreme heat and rain
Eligibility Requirements
- You're at least 18 years old when you submit your application.
- You're currently enrolled at an accredited college or university in the United States or the United States territories and actively working toward an Associate's, Bachelor's, or Graduate degree*.
- You graduated from an accredited college or university in the United States or the United States territories* within the last 12 months of this job posting. (Graduation after August 31, 2025).
- You've completed at least one term at your college or university (or a minimum of 6 credit hours) towards your degree before your program start date.
- You're in good academic standing at your school. Speak to your advisor to understand your school’s requirements for participating in an off-campus program.
- You have valid work authorization in the United States for the full duration of your program. U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, green card holders, and F-1 students with valid OPT or CPT authorization are all welcome.
Candidates who receive an offer will be required to pay the Program Participation Fee & Housing Fee within days of their program offer date.
*US includes all 50 states plus Puerto Rico and all other US territories.
- This position requires full availability through January 28, 2027. Participants MUST have arrived June 22, 2026 or later, no exceptions. Please be aware that you cannot participate in consecutive programs totaling more than one calendar year, including any combination of Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internships.
- A $240 non-refundable Extension Program Participation Fee is due upon accepting your extension offer. If you have a registered vehicle, a $75 parking decal renewal fee applies, or $150 for a new decal. Parking decals are limited, available first come, first served, and require a vehicle to be pre-registered in DORMS. If you have already accepted an extension in your current role and location, an additional Program Participation Fee will not be required.
- No more than FOUR (4) attendance points within the last six (6) months (not including early shift releases or authorized days off); No more than ONE (1) reprimand within the last six (6) months
Qualifications souhaitables:
It would be great if you have…
- Formal teaching/education experience
- Previous experience working or volunteering in an informal learning environment such as a zoo, aquarium, museum, state park, or nature center, etc.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills
- Demonstrated conservation and environmental knowledge
- Ability to speak more than one language
Formation requise:
- Must meet all of the above Program participation eligibility requirements or be actively participating on a Disney Program with an original arrival date of June 22, 2026 or later.
Formation souhaitable:
- Life or Environmental Sciences, Environmental Policy, Biology, Zoology, Education, Recreation, Communications or related major.
