The Senior Manager, Workforce Intelligence will build and lead Disney's enterprise Workforce Intelligence capability. Reporting directly to the People Insights & Data Strategy VP leading Decision Intelligence, this leader will help Disney anticipate workforce challenges and opportunities before competitors do, enabling better talent, workforce, and business decisions. Inspired by the emerging discipline of Workforce Intelligence, the role will transform external workforce signals, relevant internal workforce insights, competitive talent intelligence, skills insights, and AI-enabled analytics into strategic recommendations that shape how Disney competes for talent and plans for the workforce of the future.

As a trusted advisor to executive and senior leaders, the Senior Manager will influence enterprise decisions through workforce foresight, market intelligence, data-driven recommendations, and scalable intelligence products that enable leaders to move faster and smarter.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the Workforce Intelligence Capability

  • Define and lead Disney's Workforce Intelligence strategy, roadmap, and operating model.
  • Establish Workforce Intelligence as a critical enterprise capability that informs workforce, talent, and business decisions.
  • Build team capabilities, methodologies, governance, and best practices that elevate workforce intelligence beyond traditional labor market reporting.

Deliver Workforce Foresight and Competitive Intelligence

  • Monitor and analyze labor markets, talent competitors, workforce trends, emerging skills, talent movement, and other external signals to identify strategic opportunities and risks.
  • Partner with Decision Science teams to frame predictive models, workforce forecasts, scenario analyses, and prescriptive insights that support strategic workforce decisions.
  • Synthesize external workforce intelligence with relevant internal workforce data, quantitative analysis, and business context to identify patterns, gaps, and opportunities and translate them into evidence-based recommendations that influence recruiting strategy, strategic workforce planning, location strategy, and future capability investments.
  • Advise leaders on where Disney can realistically win critical talent, which organizations represent priority competitors or talent sources, and how workforce strategies compare with market realities.
  • Deliver insights into how competitors are evolving their workforce strategies, organizational capabilities, critical skills, workforce investments, talent practices, and rewards and benefits programs.

Inform the Design of Workforce Intelligence Products

  • Define the business vision, priorities, and requirements for workforce intelligence products, self-service experiences, knowledge platforms, and intelligence delivery models, partnering with technical teams to bring solutions to life.
  • Translate stakeholder needs into product uses cases and requirements, analytical methodologies, user experiences, and success measures.
  • Collaborate with People Insights & Data Strategy, Workforce Transformation, data science, technology, and other cross-functional teams to build, implement, and scale designed solutions.
  • Champion self-service workforce intelligence so recruiters, HR partners, workforce planners, and leaders can access trusted, actionable insights quickly and consistently.
  • Develop and govern reusable knowledge libraries and intelligence products that expand enterprise access to external and internal workforce insights and reduce reliance on one-time research.

Drive AI-Enabled Intelligence Innovation

  • Define the vision for AI-enabled and agentic workforce intelligence.
  • Partner with analytics, technology, and data science teams to automate intelligence workflows and improve the speed, scale, and quality of workforce insights.
  • Leverage emerging technologies to create sustainable and future-focused workforce intelligence capabilities.

Influence Enterprise Decisions

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior HR leaders, Talent Acquisition, Workforce Planning, and Organizational Development partners.
  • Present complex workforce intelligence with clarity and conviction, translating data into compelling narratives and strategic recommendations.
  • Influence data-driven decisions by providing an informed point of view, not simply reporting information.

Lead and Develop a High-Performing Team

  • Lead and develop a team of workforce Intelligence strategists.
  • Provide analytical stewardship for complex work, including constructively challenging methodologies, assumptions, interpretations, and recommendations.
  • Foster a culture of strategic thinking, analytical curiosity, innovation, business acumen, and executive influence.
