Job Summary:

About the Role & Team

The Senior Manager is responsible for commercial and content planning as well as for trading to drive profitability of Disney+, including forecasting, content analysis, performance tracking and advertising revenues modelling (e.g. impressions forecasting).

The role will support the Direct to Consumer (DTC) Lead to track the overall commercial plan for Türkiye to achieve Disney+ growth targets and will partner closely with dedicated DTC managers in each functional team to provide them with relevant insights. The role will define and continuously improve the local forecasting by understanding the market and the business dynamics based on the most recent business performance and local insights.

In particular, the Senior Manager will have a key role to meet the targeted net subscriber growth, the revenue and profit targets, as to provide insights for the Long Range and Annual Operating Plans.

This is a role that has direct and relevant impact on the overall success of Disney+.

This role will require you to be working 4 days a week in our office and 1 day from home. 

What You Will Do

  • Support the DTC Lead in all activities including planning, LRP, AOP, quarterly planning, in-quarter performance by gathering insights and inputs from all the DTC functional leads in EMEA and locally

  • Identify main factors driving subscribers’ acquisition and revenues as well as advertising revenues, including content engagement and churn, and improve performance in these areas

  • Reporting, monitoring and forecasting advertising KPIs including subscribers’ engagement (e.g. hours streamed, etc.) and advertising impressions, providing guidelines to other teams to meet the targets

  • Prepare presentations required by senior management and EMEA leadership team regarding Disney+ planning and trading

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum 5/7 years of experience in a similar role or with statistical / data analysis. Skills on finance are required

  • Background in media and/or direct to consumer subscription / eCommerce business knowledge is preferred

  • Revenue pricing or similar data analysis within the advertising

  • Extensive experience in digital commerce, with strong track record in delivering commercial and trading analysis and reports

  • Financial and accounting practices

  • Reporting and data computing

  • Analytical skills, and basic computation / math / accounting skills required

  • Data-driven approach to delivering results

  • Ability to solve complex problems that involve competing priorities and strategic thinking with strong communication skills

  • Both Turkish and English proficiency (oral and written) are essential

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Power Point knowledge is required; Microsoft Office skills are preferred and Power BI / Tableau desired skills
