Facility Asset Management provides construction project management services and long-term facility planning for the Disneyland Resort. Our focus is to maintain the parks, attractions, rides, resorts, roads, retail shops, and restaurants while preserving the overall show quality of the Disneyland Resort. Our world class project management staff leads all aspects of construction projects including design development, contractor bid and award, field management, and close-out. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with General Contractors/subcontractors/stakeholders, maintaining site safety, and leading efficient execution of construction activities for various assigned projects. As a Construction Intern, you will play a vital role in assisting our construction team with various tasks and projects. This internship will provide you with hands-on experience in the construction industry, allowing you to develop practical skills and gain insights into the various aspects of construction management and execution. 

The approximate dates of this internship are January 2026-June 2026.

This is a full-time position, and interns must be fully available for the duration of the internship.

This Internship is in Anaheim, CA.

What You Will Do:

  • Project Support: Assist site superintendents in coordinating and implementing construction projects. This may involve tasks such as site inspections, documentation, progress tracking, conducting site meetings and assisting with project planning.

  • Site Activities: Participate in on-site activities, including material deliveries, project laydown space, equipment setup, safety inspections, and coordination with contractors and vendors. It is also our role to ensure that any ongoing and onstage construction projects are “show-ready” before guests enter the Parks and Resorts.

  • Documentation: Prepare ‘Daily Reports’ to upload onto Disney software. This will include providing contractor man-counts, scope of work, and approximate times/durations. This may also include making and upholding safety observations.

  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and ensure all work is conducted in compliance with established safety guidelines and laws. Report any potential safety hazards or concerns promptly; may also include generating a report and uploading it to the Disney software

  • Quality Control: Assist in quality control inspections to ensure that construction work meets the required Disney standards and specifications per the approved project submittals.

  • Cost Tracking: Assist project managers with settling change order

  • Communication: Collaborate with team members, contractors, and suppliers to facilitate effective communication and coordination throughout the construction process.

  • Problem Solving: Identify and address construction-related challenges and problems, proposing creative solutions to ensure project progress and completion.

  • Learning and Development: Actively engage in learning opportunities, attending training sessions, workshops, and meetings to expand your knowledge of construction practices and techniques.

  • Assistance to Various Departments: Provide support to different departments within the construction company, such as estimating, procurement, scheduling, and project management, as needed.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Prior related work experience, including co-op/intern programs with a focus on construction.

  • Strong interest in the construction industry and a desire to learn and develop practical skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Basic understanding of construction principles, techniques, and terminology.

  • Proficiency in using construction software tools and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Required Education:

  • Junior, Senior or Graduate student currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience or Post Graduate degree at an accredited 4-year College or University studying Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture or similar major.

Preferred Education

  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (Note: Please, no rounding) as shown on a current transcript.

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information:

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship​

  • Be at least 18 years of age​

  • Possess unrestricted work authorization​

  • Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program

Additional Information:

• Be compliant with The Disney Look appearance guidelines

• Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship

• Fully available Monday thru Friday, PST for the duration of the internship,40 hours each week

• Able to provide own housing for the duration internship program in the Anaheim, CA area

• Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work


The pay rate for this role as an undergraduate in CA is $30.00 /hr. The pay rate for this role as a graduate student in CA is $35.00/hr.
