Job Summary:

Ready to make magic? We’re hiring for our 12-month undergraduate placement schemes.

As a Business and Sales Intern, you will be exposed to the commercial functions across The Walt Disney Company (TWDC). You will contribute to strategic projects, play a key role in analysing commercial data which will contribute to improving business processes and commercial performance.

The internship will encourage you to think strategically and advance your commercial acumen, as well as developing your interpersonal skills, critical thinking and project management skills.

We have multiple internships available within this remit. By applying for this opportunity, you will be considered for one of the below areas. If you have a particular preference, please note this in your cover letter.

Disney+

  • Content Acquisitions (Direct-to-Consumer & Media Networks): You’ll be part of a team working across the non-linear (Disney+) brands and platforms, and linear (Star, FX & Disney Channels). You will provide support to the team by coordinating projects, working with external and internal partners to help source and review content for the Disney+ service, and working closely with various teams including Programming, Legal and Finance to best support content planned across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region and generate a return on investment.

  • Viewer Experience: Focusing on our customers and their interaction with Disney Streaming, you will collaborate with the broader Disney Streaming team, global Customer Experience as well as stakeholders and other areas of business within TWDC.

Disney Consumer Products

  • Commercial, Account & Category Management: You will play a key role in supporting the sourcing, developing new partners and products across our Toy & Food businesses. From identifying trends, to thinking of exciting new product ideas, this internship will develop skills in creative & strategic thinking, commercial acumen and sales. This role would be suitable for those who are passionate about Disney products.

  • Loyalty and Premiums: You will manage the relationship with the external Premium Partners and support the business’s promotional activities across every Disney brand. You will be responsible for all aspects of Account Management including, handling enquiries, and collaborating with multiple internal departments (from Product Development to Contracts).

  • UK Retail Sales and Marketing: You will work with a range of UK retailers from grocery to e-commerce where you will support the activation of commercial and marketing plans across all the franchises and product categories associated with TWDC brand.

  • E-Commerce Marketplaces: You’ll help drive the growth of our leading licensees across toys, fashion, home, publishing, health & beauty, and games. This role offers hands-on experience in brand management and e-commerce, from running campaigns and promotions to analysing sales data, reviewing category performance, and identifying new opportunities to boost sales and strengthen our global brand presence.

  • Brand Commercialisation: You will work across either the Disney and Pixar brands or Marvel, 20th Century Studios and Lucasfilm brands. You will be responsible for assisting the team in delivering regional (EMEA) strategies to maximise revenue and grow brand engagement for all audiences. You will gain hands-on experience in commercial brand strategy, brand health analysis, and partner pitching. This opportunity would suit a detail-oriented, analytical individual with a curiosity for the financial and consumer data insights that underpin our Brand Commercialisation strategies.

Disney Destinations International

  • Sales: Forming part of the travel division of Disney, this remit is responsible for the sales and marketing of Disneyland Paris (DLP), Walt Disney World (WDW) and Disney Cruise Line (DCL) across the UK, Ireland and the EMEA region. Interns will join the sales team, managing relationships with UK travel industry partners to enable them to sell our destinations and increase the sales of packages and tickets through a variety of activities and events.

Disney Platform Distribution

  • Affiliates Sales: You will play a key role in supporting the team and actively contribute to the affiliate sales success. You will be part of an array of projects across the distribution of Disney’s linear channels (National Geographic, Disney Channel) and Disney+ to platform partners (B2B) across EMEA markets. Key responsibilities will include market analysis, financial modelling on excel and contract reviews.

  • Digital Stores: You’ll help drive digital movie and TV content sales across EMEA, working closely with global and local retailers. Key responsibilities include supporting new release launches, assisting with promotional catalogue projects, and providing project and administrative support to account managers.

  • Sales and Deal Management: Interns joining this team will gain hands-on experience supporting sales and deal planning for dynamic television media platforms. You’ll collaborate with regional sales teams, interpret and record deal terms, and provide essential pre- and post-sales support across various EMEA markets.

Studios

  • Home Entertainment Product Management: You’ll support the entire Physical Home Entertainment business from DVDs and Blu-rays to 4K UHD releases across brands like Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilm, TV and Fox – bringing these stories to life in homes across Europe. You’ll play a key role in shaping product format strategy, product and performance analysis, driving distribution excellence, and ensuring every release is timely, cost-effective, and aligned with global strategy.

  • Studio Distribution: By joining this team, you will support the theatrical business across the EMEA region, you’ll be responsible for delivering insightful analysis and supporting local theatrical teams in driving distribution success across film releases.

  • Theatrical Sales: You’ll support the department in successfully releasing all our films across the UK & Ireland, from Searchlight films to Marvel blockbusters and Disney family favourites. Key responsibilities will include analysing box office data, booking films with clients, facilitating screening events, supporting team meetings, and sharing industry reports across the department as well as working with internal and external partners.

  • Character Voices International: Working with the Disney Character Voices International team, you will be responsible for planning and tracking the delivery of localised dubbed projects across EMEA. The work revolves around theatrical features, high profile Disney+ titles, trailers and clips, for which the London team closely collaborates with local Disney teams around the world and 3rd party vendors.

Strategy and Transformation

  • This internship sits within the project management arm of Disney’s External Reporting team, where you’ll play a key role in supporting strategic transformation initiatives across global finance operations. You’ll gain hands-on experience working on complex international projects, including mergers and legal entity liquidations, while helping track timelines and activities across cross-functional teams. You’ll contribute to business process reengineering, stakeholder engagement, and change management, and take ownership of drafting leadership presentations and assisting with the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) budget.

This is an office-based internship. 4 days working in the Hammersmith, London office with 1 day working from home (Monday or Friday).

  • Must be a second-year undergraduate student on a placement year course returning to study in Autumn 2027

  • Must have the right to work in the UK already in place

  • Available to start working full time from June 2026
