Job Summary 

The Brand & Franchise Marketing team acts as a facilitator among EMEA TWDC Lines of Businesses (LOBs), driving alignment and collaboration for brand, franchise, synergy, and audience company priorities. It is a cross-company support function, networked into the US that translates global strategy into EMEA brand and franchise direction by applying regional audience insights and financial performance. 

In this role, you will craft and deliver strategic plans for XLOB brand and franchise marketing priorities; collating and digesting XLOB insights and metrics to build frameworks that EMEA TWDC marketing teams can rally behind. 

The role is also responsible for the development and delivery of brand market

ing campaigns for a combination of the following evergreen TWDC brands and franchises across Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, Pixar, and National Geographic.

The final selection is subject to available resource and priorities. This includes managing all aspects from planning to delivery, XLOB communications, management of local and regional EMEA stakeholders, and reporting. Developing and maintaining efficient workflows and communication processes throughout. 

This is a LOB agnostic role that relies on strong relationships across the business. Close collaboration with the US Global Brand Management team and Studio Franchise team is vital. 

This is an office-based role. 4 days working in the Hammersmith, London office with 1 day working from home (Monday or Friday).

The Opportunity & Responsibilities 

Insights & Strategic Development 

  • Work with Research, Business Development, and LOB data sources to build out the strategic challenges and opportunities per franchise. 
  • Proactively seek out and understand available insights that drive the strategic direction of business marketing priorities. 
  • Manage strategic overviews (develop, update, and circulate to key stakeholders) 
     

Planning 

  • Develop a deep knowledge of, and become the expert and guardian of, selected brand and franchise priorities. 
  • Own the corporate level franchise direction for designated branded franchises and ensure efficient communications around the business. 
     

Campaign 

  • Develop, lead, and execute innovative, industry-leading consumer marketing campaigns that capitalize on growth opportunities as per the franchise direction set out. Digital and social are core to the majority of plans  
  • Champion and facilitate integrated cross-company alignment and collaboration; seek opportunities and develop marketing plans which create value for the wider business.  
  • Be the point person for campaign strategy and implementation guidance for the EMEA local markets, providing templates to monitor adoption and implementation. Develop close collaborative relationships and ensure communications flow in both directions 
  • Manage EMEA and UK campaign budgets for designated brands/franchises 
  • Ensure all stakeholders across the business – including in-house functional teams and agencies – are effectively briefed and that every campaign is delivered on time, on brief, and on budget. 
  • Ensure campaign KPIs are met, and that a robust reporting framework is in place to provide full post-campaign analysis. 
  • Manage the maintenance of calendars, presentations, and documents relating to each campaign, and ensure regular communication is in place to update all stakeholders. 
     

The Experience and Skills We Require From You 

  • Proven experience in a marketing or brand management role. 
  • Experience working in research and insights (proven ability of turning insights into strategic recommendations). 
  • Experience in briefing agencies and media planning/implementation essential.  Including : paid media campaigns (execution and analysis) and Digital marketing / YouTube marketing and content 
  • Understanding of a matrixed organization and stakeholder management. 
  • Must be tenacious, proactive, and diplomatic 
  • Ability to use different influencing styles to achieve end goals. 
  • Open communicator who shows curiosity for solution seeking. 
  • Understanding of local markets across EMEA. 
  • A confident presenter – able to deliver a compelling message to a varied group (internal and external).
