This role will be a critical position, partnering with the Manager, Synergy Marketing as we prepare to create magic at sea. You will be a crucial part of the team delivering cross-company synergy engagement across the region for the successful introduction and sustainment of Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship Disney Adventure to sail from Singapore December 2025.

The Associate Manager, Synergy Marketing will create and lead strategic cross-company integrations that will act as a key aspect of the overall Marketing strategy. You will identify initiatives taking place throughout the Disney Company Southeast Asia that provide opportunity to partner for Disney Cruise line. These activations will add strategic brand value, reaching key audiences and augmenting paid media plans. This Synergy will have mutually beneficial outcomes and drive consumer engagement and brand presence for Disney Cruise line as we introduce our newest ship to the Southeast Asia region. Synergy not limited to, APAC Communications, Disney+, Studios, CRM, Social Handles, Network Synergy and more, that help support the brand story of Disney Cruise line introductions and presence in the region. You will evaluate and manage requests and proactively drive engagement from throughout the Company that have potential for strong programs with the overall Disney Cruise line marketing campaigns.

In addition to driving synergy across The Walt Disney Company lines of businesses, this role will also play a key supporting function to the Partnerships team for Disney Cruise Line. You will collaborate closely with the Partnerships team to contribute to the development planning, and execution of high-impact partner marketing campaigns across the region.  These campaigns will be instrumental in building brand awareness, driving consumer engagement, and supporting the commercial goals of Disney Cruise Line as we grow our presence in the region. You will assist in managing a diverse portfolio of partnerships, including banks, airlines, malls, retailers, licensees and more. Your role will include helping to shape integrated marketing strategies for each partner, ensuring consistency with Disney Cruise Line’s brand positioning and campaign messaging. You will work cross-functionally to help align internal teams and external partners, coordinating campaign timelines, managing creative approvals, and tracking performance metrics. In particular, you will work closely with the Disney Cruise Line Sales team to ensure the partner campaigns are strategically aligned to drive bookings and deliver mutually beneficial outcomes for both Disney Cruise Line and its partners.

Responsibilities:

Performing the role with excellence includes having strong collaboration and relationship skills, strategic vision, proven influencing skills, critical thinking, business acumen, creative and expansive thinking, learning agility and ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment to navigate a complex launch on an accelerated timeline.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and activate innovative, strategic, and impactful Synergy campaigns throughout the region including but not limited to:
    • APAC Marketing (Franchise, Consumer Products, Integrated Marketing)
    • Disney + / Disney+ Hotstar / JioHotstar
    • Studios
    • Regional Disney Website and Social Handles
    • Parks
    • Disney Theatrical Group
  • Develop strategic relationships understanding key business drivers to find win-win outcomes to collaborative campaigns.
  • Identify how synergy activations can add strategic value to the overall communication strategy for Disney Cruise line, activations to augment paid media and drive earned marketing value.
  • Maintain open and ongoing communication with TWDC lines of business, internal and external partners, and agency partners to ensure alignment, focusing on relationship management and collaboration addressing business goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Partnerships team to support the development and execution of integrated partner campaigns across priority markets, including:
    • Tourism Boards
    • Airport and Tourism Hubs
    • Airlines
    • Banks and Financial Institutions
    • Retailers, Malls, and Licensees
  • Work closely with Sales team to ensure Synergy and Partnership campaigns support commercial objectives and deliver tangible, mutually beneficial outcomes for both Disney Cruise Line and its partners.
  • Develop and maintain campaign plans that clearly outline strategy, target audience, KPIs, and channels across Synergy and Partnership opportunities and platforms.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders (e.g. Creative, Strategy, Comms, Legal, Agency partners) and external partners to manage campaign timelines, creative approvals, and ensure brand consistency and timeliness.
  • Oversee execution milestones, timelines, and budget tracking in collaboration with internal, external and agency teams.
  • Track and compile performance metrics and recaps for synergy and partner campaigns, including reach, impressions, conversions and ROI to inform reporting and future campaign planning.
  • Conduct post campaign analysis and produce campaign recaps to share with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Apply insights to optimize future campaigns and share best practices across the broader marketing team.
  • Must be able to pitch new ideas while executing existing programs.
  • Present campaign plans clearly to internal and external stakeholders including executives at the VP-level and above.
  • Collaborate with marketing peers to consider how and where ideas can build for greater impact.
  • Assist the Manager and Senior Manager on presentation decks, proposals, and key internal and external communications.
  • Monitor Company engagement on an ongoing basis to identify new and innovative opportunities.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of proven experience in omni-channel, marketing communications driving earned media value.
  • Experience developing marketing engagement and creative marketing plans in Asia.
  • Keen understanding of the region.
  • Experience within the Disney Company is a plus.
  • Significant experience in managing complex projects in a fast-paced environment reliant upon successful collaboration and integration of key stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, plus superior professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Skilled at understanding performance metrics to assess and optimize programs.
     

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
