About Disney Cruise Line

Since launching in 1998, Disney Cruise Line has established itself as a leader in the cruise industry, providing a setting where families can reconnect, adults can recharge and children can experience all Disney has to offer. About the Role

This internship is designed to support the Disney Cruise Line Media & Digital Marketing team in Singapore, with a focus on media strategy and planning—leveraging digital and paid media channels to drive brand marketing and communication objectives—as well as contributing to social content development for the Disney Adventure.

The Social Media & Digital Marketing and Media Planning Intern role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in media planning, social content development, campaign management, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced, brand-driven environment.

As part of the team, the intern will support the planning, development, review, and execution of Disney Cruise Line – Disney Adventure campaign materials across paid media and social platforms. They will collaborate closely with creative agencies, media partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure all content reflects the Disney Cruise Line brand identity, meets storytelling standards, and upholds quality benchmarks.

We’re seeking proactive and enthusiastic individuals with a passion for media planning, storytelling, and digital content. The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver, resourceful, and a collaborative team player with strong communication skills. Success in this role requires sharp attention to detail and a solid understanding of social trends and digital marketing best practices.

This role will report to the Associate Manager, Digital & Social for Disney Cruise Line (DCL) Singapore Marketing, with functional reporting to the Senior Manager, Media & Digital. The position will involve extensive collaboration across various marketing touchpoints within the Disney Cruise Line brand.

Responsibilities:

Media Strategy & Planning

  • Assist in translating marketing objectives into media plans and campaign briefs.
  • Support the planning, coordination, and execution of campaigns across paid and owned media — spanning offline, online, and social channels.
  • Liaise with media and creative agencies, as well as internal stakeholders, to manage asset delivery and ensure seamless campaign execution.
  • Conduct research on competitor activity and regional media trends to inform planning strategies.
  • Help monitor media budgets and assist with campaign reporting, spend tracking, and performance optimizations.
  • Use tools such as Microsoft Excel and platform dashboards to support data tracking and analysis.

Social & Digital Marketing

  • Contribute to the development of digital content for both paid and organic social media campaigns.
  • Assist in managing social media calendars, publishing schedules, and daily community engagement.
  • Coordinate with internal teams on community management responses and brand servicing across social channels.
  • Support content production and on-site asset capture, including shoots and creative sessions.
  • Help with influencer/KOL coordination, including content review, product seeding and tracking of deliverables.
  • Participate in creative brainstorms and reviews, contributing fresh ideas and perspectives.
  • Compile competitive landscape insights and monitor emerging digital and social trends.
  • Track and report on social and digital campaign performance, identifying insights to inform future strategies.
  • Assist with internal approvals, project management, campaign timelines, and documentation processes.
  • Provide general administrative and operational support to the wider team.

Internship Requirements:

  • Currently an undergraduate pursuing a bachelor's degree
  • Still an undergraduate and not yet graduated during the internship period
  • Must be available for full-time internship commitment (Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm) between January to June 2026

Requirements

    • Currently an undergraduate pursuing a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Social Media or a related field
    • Highly self-motivated and meticulous with a strong passion for Media, Social & Digital Marketing
    • Knowledge or interest in Digital & Social Marketing is a plus
    • Strong project management skills
    • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
    • Proactive, curious and collaborative mindset
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Familiarity with social media platforms and current digital trends
    • Being a Disney fan is definitely a plus! - Interest or fan mentality for Disney Cruise Line, Disney, Pixar, Star Wars and Marvel
    • Ability to adapt quickly to a constantly evolving organizations, and to thrive in a fast-paced working environment
    • Strong team player; possesses good interpersonal skills with a high level of enthusiasm in collaborating in cross functional teams
    • Adopts a challenging and questioning approach, proposing information and solutions in creative ways
    • Passionate team player with a never-ending curiosity
    • Self-starter that needs minimal supervision in motivating himself/herself, always looking for opportunities to contribute to our campaigns and overall projects.
    • Ability to prioritize workload to meet competing deadlines and manage stakeholder expectations
    • Creative mindset with the ability to leverage on data to develop strategy/decisions
    • Proficient in MS Office and Adobe Photoshop
