Overall Purpose of the Role 

Disney+ Partnerships Intern role will support the negotiation and execution of complex distribution agreements, contribute to business development initiatives, and assist with operational tasks that drive Disney’s content distribution strategy across global partners. 

 

This role is highly collaborative, working closely with internal stakeholders mainly in sales area but also marketing, technology, finance, and legal, while monitoring industry trends and developing a deep understanding of the rapidly evolving media and streaming landscape.  

Areas of Responsibility 

 

  • Partnership Strategy & Research  

  • Market & competitor analysis: Identify trends and evaluate the competitive landscape in streaming, media, and entertainment partnerships 

  • Partner prospecting: Research and identify potential partners (brands, platforms, telcos, retailers, etc.) 

  • Support strategy development: Assist in crafting strategies for new and existing partnerships to drive subscriber growth and brand engagement 

  • Deal Support & Execution 

  • Assist in partnership pitches: Help prepare presentation materials and proposals for potential partners 

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams: Liaise with legal, finance, marketing, and product teams to help support deal execution and partner onboarding 

  • Contract tracking: Maintain documentation and track status of ongoing deals and agreements 

  • Campaign & Partner Marketing Support 

  • Campaign planning: Help plan and brainstorm co-branded marketing campaigns with partners 

  • Asset coordination: Assist in gathering, organizing, and delivering brand assets for partner campaigns 

  • Performance tracking: Support reporting on campaign KPIs and help evaluate partner effectiveness 

  • Project & Relationship Management 

  • Partner communication: Help with day-to-day partner communication and coordination 

  • Internal reporting: Create internal updates on partnership progress and outcomes 

  • Calendar & milestone tracking: Help keep project timelines and deliverables on track 

  • Presentation & Reporting 

  • Build decks: Prepare executive-level presentations for internal and external meetings 

  • Data visualization: Assist in creating reports and dashboards to analyze partner impact using tools like Excel, Tableau, or Power BI

Skills Required 

  • Strong research and analytical skills to evaluate industry trends, market data, and competitor activities. 

  • Excellent presentation and communication abilities for summarizing findings and supporting sales and partnership discussions. 

  • High attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple projects and maintain critical documentation in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams and adapt quickly to shifting priorities. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, SharePoint) for reporting and presentations. 

  • Eagerness to learn, with a proactive mindset and genuine interest in the media and streaming industry. 

  • Comfortable multitasking and thriving under tight deadlines. 

  • This position is ideal for fast learners who are passionate about the future of media and excited to contribute to the growth of Disney’s global distribution efforts.  

  • Fluent English.
