As the Director of Technology for the Global Delivery Centre (GDC) for Enterprise Technology, you will be at the forefront of driving innovation and strategic initiatives within a world-class entertainment company. This role is pivotal in leading multiple specialties and departments, ensuring the seamless execution of technology projects that support Disney's global storytelling mission. Your leadership will inspire agile teams to deliver cutting-edge solutions, fostering a culture of collaboration and adaptability. What You Will Do: 

  • Set up, lead and manage the Global Delivery Centre, driving the Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) model. 

  • Establish and nurture an innovation centre to spearhead technological advancements. 

  • Develop and mentor agile teams to ensure efficient end-to-end delivery of technology projects. 

  • Oversee platform reliability, focusing on ServiceNow, AI/ML, databases, SRE, QE, and technical support. 

  • Engage in global collaboration and stakeholder engagement to align strategies and objectives. 

  • Leverage market hiring expertise to build a robust and dynamic team. 

  • Cultivate a culture of innovation, collaboration, and strategic thinking within the organization. 

  • Foster a collaborative, innovative and inclusive environment, serving as an advocate for Disney values and a positive employee experience.

  • Represent the GDC-based Enterprise Technology team in executive forums, clearly communicating team capabilities, progress and opportunities for innovation.

Required Skills: 

  • Experience establishing and successfully scaling technology teams in global delivery centers, including hands-on work with BOT or similar models.

  • Extensive hiring and talent management experience in the India technology market

  • Expertise in leading and managing multiple specialties within a technology function. 

  • Strong strategic and visionary leadership skills. 

  • Proficiency in driving innovation and agile methodologies. 

  • Experience with platform reliability and technologies such as ServiceNow, AI/ML, and databases. 

  • Experience partnering with global business and technology stakeholders in a matrixed environment. 

  • Inspirational, strategic and collaborative leadership qualities. 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 

Preferred Qualifications & Experience: 

  • Experience in establishing and managing innovation centers. 

  • Experience in market hiring and building agile teams. 

Education: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
