At The Walt Disney Company, Finance Transformation is a high-profile, cross-functional initiative to define and create the future of Finance at The Walt Disney Company. 

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Manager of Finance Transformation to support end-to-end modernization of financial processes, technology platforms, and data foundations across its global finance organization. This role will support enterprise-wide Finance Transformation by leading multiple process redesign and strategic transformation workstreams, leading cross-segment functional workstreams, and supporting the prioritization and evaluation of AI use cases within Finance. 

This role will report to the Director, Finance Transformation, and will work closely with senior finance, technology, and business stakeholders.

 What you will do: 

Finance Process Simplification & Strategic Transformation: 

  • Redesign planning, forecasting, reporting, and variance analysis processes for speed, clarity, and control, in close collaboration with other business partners and stakeholders in Finance, Technology, and HR.  
  • Support the progress of finance transformation across the enterprise and within individual segments across a variety of strategic transformation projects. 
  • Partner with finance leadership to align on future-state roles, responsibilities, and governance models. 
  • Lead or facilitate change management initiatives to drive adoption of redesigned processes. 

 Program Leadership & Execution: 

  • Lead cross-segment transformation workstreams with clear KPIs, milestones, and executive visibility. 
  • Influence key collaborators across the organization, ensuring the successful implementation of transformation initiatives that drive long-term, sustainable results. 

 AI & Automation at Scale: 

  • Support the prioritization of AI use cases across the enterprise, leveraging a common evaluation framework. 
  • Partner with business teams to evaluate and develop business cases in support of AI use cases. 

 Required Qualifications & Skills: 

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in finance, strategy, or transformation roles. 
  • Strong FP&A domain knowledge and end-to-end understanding of planning, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes (preferably at TWDC). 
  • Demonstrated business acumen with well-developed planning and analytical skills, using a global perspective. 
  • Proven track record of leading complex projects involving both process redesign and technology enablement. 
  • Experience leading and/or influencing cross-functional teams in large matrixed organizations.  
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, executive presentation, stakeholder engagement, and organizational skills. 
  • Ability to expertly field both internal & external business requests and manage priorities. 
  • Strong initiative and ability to bring order to ambiguity. Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to drive projects to completion. 

Preferred Qualifications & Skills: 

  • Prior experience and knowledge of TWDC FP&A process. 
  • Familiarity with AI/ML in finance settings, including forecast modeling and intelligent automation. 

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field. 
  • MBA, preferred


The hiring range for this position in Burbank, California is $168,200.00 to $205,400 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
