As a Vice President, Collaboration Technology & AI, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of our global entertainment powerhouse. This position is at the forefront of innovation, where you will collaborate with leaders across the company to drive strategies and inspire teams to develop innovative solutions, ensuring Disney remains a world-class storyteller and entertainment company.

This leader champions innovation and strategy for collaboration, conferencing, and AI tools across the company—empowering knowledge workers and teams. You’ll help drive Disney’s competitive advantage by enhancing experiences, growing the business, and boosting operational excellence. Responsibilities include overseeing Microsoft Copilot, the “DisneyGPT” platform, and steering key initiatives like Global Hosting Transformation and eTech’s AI programs. Additionally, you’ll ensure strong, consistent product management throughout TWDC Services & Platforms.

What You Will Do: 

Strategic Leadership & Business Growth

  • Lead and oversee the financial performance of this business-critical set of technical services.

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth and innovation.

  • Ensure alignment with Disney's global vision and corporate strategies.

  • Evaluate key business and organizational challenges, developing innovative solutions within broad company policies.

  • Influence and persuade stakeholders to align with strategic objectives and initiatives.

Product Management & Optimization

  • Implement and lead a strong Product Management function for both Collaboration and general-purpose AI tools.

  • Drive the strategy for world class and consistent product management practices across the Services & Platforms organization.

  • Drive synergy and optimization initiatives to ensure we are making the most of our licensed software, without duplicated capabilities.

AI Strategy & Enablement

  • Lead the strategy & delivery of AI tools for knowledge workers and workgroups.

  • Advance this technology, build a clear roadmap and communications plan to clearly guide employees to the right AI tool for their needs.

  • Partner closely with other AI & Innovation teams across TWDC to ensure our general-purpose AI toolsets are aligned with and taking innovation from the larger strategies.

  • Drive a training and advocacy program to help accelerate general purpose AI skillsets across the company, and a culture of innovation in this emerging space.

Collaboration Platforms & Transformation

  • Lead both the strategy & delivery of the Collaboration platforms across TWDC, with a product management focus to deliver the capabilities needed in the most efficient way possible.

  • Lead the strategic programs and transformation projects for the Services & Platforms organization, ensuring the necessary focus and quality on our most critical efforts.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance collaboration technologies and AI-driven solutions.

Team Leadership & Culture

  • Provide leadership and direction to executive and senior leaders, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.

  • Inspire and motivate teams to achieve excellence and drive continuous improvement.

Required Skills: 

  • Experience with AI technologies 

  • Strong financial acumen and accountability 

  • Strategic planning and execution

  • Innovative problem-solving abilities 

  • Influential and persuasive communication skills 

  • Proficiency in program/product management and Lean Six Sigma 

  • Adaptability to changing business environments 

Preferred Qualifications & Experience: 

  • Experience in the entertainment industry 

  • Familiarity with collaboration technologies

  • Proven track record of leading large, diverse teams 

Education:  

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field 

  • Relevant certifications in leadership or strategic management


The hiring range for this position in California is $246,400 to $330,400.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
