Job Summary
The Disney+ Snr Brand Strategy Manager is responsible for the development of the EMEA brand strategy for 
Disney+ and brand strategic projects. They will own the holistic brand strategy for Disney+ in EMEA, and work 
with all functions of the business to ensure it is delivered consistently. 

They will lead all strategic projects for brand marketing (e.g. brand architecture, brand design development, 
and future brand changes). They will be a key part of all quarterly and annual planning processes. They will 
be an excellent communicator, experienced at presenting to stakeholders at all levels and creating 
presentations for senior stakeholders. 

They’ll work particularly closely with the Disney+ Creative Team to develop and protect the brand in market. 
They’ll act as consultant and sounding board on the strategic implications of creative decisions, and actively 
help the marketing teams get to clear, simple and motivating briefs. 

This role will work closely with the Insights & Analytics team to put the consumer first and ensure insight guides 
Disney+’s strategic decisions on brand. Alongside the Insights & Analytics team they will take the lead on 
Disney+’s brand measurement framework, tracking, and brand messaging development. They will support 
the Brand and Content Marketing teams to ensure every Disney+ campaign is informed by the brand strategy. 

They will connect the strategic thinking they do on Brand to the Acquisition and Retention team’s strategy, 
advocating for 360 view of Disney+’s marketing approach. They will work with the EMEA market teams to 
understand the dynamics of each market and the strategic implications for the brand. They will also work 
closely with our in-house creative team, creative agency and media agency to ensure all teams are pulling 
towards the same goal and understand our brand implicitly. 

The individual will report directly into the EMEA Brand Marketing Director and be a key advisor to the 
Content Marketing Director, Creative Director, Senior Brand Manager, and Senior Marketing Strategy 
Manager.

This is an office-based role. 4 days working in the Hammersmith, London office with 1 day working from home.

The Opportunity & Responsibilities:

  • Lead and own the continual development of the brand strategy for Disney+ in EMEA, collecting and 
    managing inputs from across the business 
  • Oversee and project manage the roll out and implementation of the brand strategy and future brand 
    projects across all functions and markets 
  • Collaborate with the creative team to develop a brand design system, guidelines and futureproofed 
    process for brand consistency across all touch points
  • Work with the US and EMEA teams to ensure all EMEA brand strategy projects have both a connection 
    to the global brand and reflect the nuance of Disney+ in EMEA regionally and locally 
  • Consult with Content and Brand Marketing teams on strategic principles for core campaigns and strategic 
    projects across team
  • Work with the Insights & Analytics team to develop brand marketing test roadmap, interpret results and 
    present back recommendations to the business, e.g. brand KPI tracking, message testing and audience 
    profiles 
  • Support Disney+ EMEA’s quarterly and annual planning with insight-driven recommendations for the role 
    of brand within wider Disney+ marketing strategy
  • Be the guardian of the Disney+ brand strategy across EMEA

The Experience & Skills We Require From You:

  • Significant experience developing brand marketing campaigns within the Entertainment industry 
    (preferably SVOD)
  • Experience developing C-suite presentations and strategic recommendations 
  • Experience motivating and inspiring creative teams and agencies 
  • EMEA regional experience including understanding cultural nuances
  • Experience collaborating across teams, delivering through others, with senior, junior and peer 
    stakeholders
  • Ability to collaborate, motivate and inspire across cross-functional teams
  • Best-in-class presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts in simple, impactful ways
  • Inquisitive mindset in order to be consumer centric
  • Ability to process data and build a strategic recommendation using results
  • Creative thinker, who knows how to get the best out of creative teams
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills

Additional Information
Some travel may be required mainly within the region, possibly to the US
