Job Summary

The Brand Marketing Manager will be responsible for the development and roll-out of EMEA regional brand marketing campaigns for Disney+. The focus, and measurement of success, is to build brand saliency, awareness, and attribution. Immediate focus is to make Disney+ top of mind, expanding perceptions of what the brand stands for and offers consumers. 

The individual will report directly to the EMEA Senior Brand Marketing Manager and work closely with the rest of brand team as well as the wider marketing organisation. They will need to co-ordinate planning with peers and will be expected to build excellent relationships with counterparts across the London office and be a key point of contact for local market colleagues wherever brand marketing is concerned.

This is an office-based role. 4 days working in the Hammersmith, London office, with 1 day working from home

The Opportunity & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver industry-leading, insight-driven, innovative, differentiated & effective brand campaigns to markets for local activation and amplification
  • With support from the Senior Brand Mktg Manager, set campaign objectives and build the campaign strategy
  • Write clear, focused and inspiring briefs across creative and media
  • Work closely with the Disney+ creative team, as well as supporting agencies, on the creative development, production, and execution of brand campaigns, ensuring consistency in the look and feel, brand personality and TOV
  • Work closely with Publicis Imagine on developing and delivering regional media guidelines for each new campaign, including collaborating to understand how local markets are bringing the media guidelines to life during campaign planning
  • Lead the brand campaign planning milestones, including the creative wall walk and post campaign analysis
  • Collate local market insights to deliver efficiencies and recommendations to improve future regional brand campaign
  • Manage and track campaign media and production budgets
  • Manage key stakeholders on the delivery and approval of assets on time
  • Become a key point of contact for local marketing brand campaign requirements on a day-to-day basis
  • Work closely with Performance Marketing, Social, Partnerships, Customer, PR and communications and the EMEA Content and UK marketing teams to ensure regional campaign strategies and plans are aligned, integrated and amplified accordingly
  • Represent the brand marketing team as required and recommend opportunities which will help enhance the Disney+ brand and accelerate growth
  • Work closely with our research team and manage campaign and ad hoc creative testing, including summarising results, learnings and recommendations
  • Lead and mentor the team intern to ensure the team is motivated, enthused, and excited
  • Attend focus groups and relevant training as required

The Experience & Skills We Require From You:

  • Experience at a brand marketing manager level
  • Experience with marketing brands within the Entertainment industry (preferably SVOD)
  • Experience with developing and deploying brand campaigns and marketing toolkits at a regional level from scratch to local market counterparts
  • EMEA regional experience including understanding market environment, communications and cultural nuances
  • Ability to oversee and manage high impact, large budget end to end marketing campaigns across multiple touchpoints and tactical campaigns which mainly rely on owned and earned performance and digital channels
  • Media, creative agency and production team experience including writing inspirational briefs
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong strategic marketing capabilities and implementation skills
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Meticulous organisational skills to balance design and delivery of multiple campaign elements at a time
  • Inquisitive mindset in order to be consumer centric and insight led
