How will you contribute to our magical experience?
We are looking for a Manager, Compensation & Benefits to lead our compensation and benefits strategy across Brazil, with additional regional responsibilities. This role is key to ensuring our programs remain competitive, equitable, and aligned with Disney’s strategic goals.
You will act as a strategic consultant to senior leadership, lead global and regional total rewards initiatives, and manage sensitive matters with discretion and integrity. You’ll also oversee wellbeing programs and benefits plans, ensuring excellence in execution and compliance with local regulations.
What you’ll do:
  • Lead the Compensation & Benefits function in Brazil, serving as the main point of contact for sensitive matters with local leadership.
  • Implement global and regional compensation strategies, adapting them to local legislation and business needs.
  • Drive the execution of global/regional total rewards projects in Brazil.
  • Manage and develop a high-performing team, fostering collaboration and innovation.
  • Analyze market trends to ensure competitiveness and support talent retention.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations.
  • Manage the compensation budget with strategic and cost-effective planning.
  • Design, implement, and manage employee benefits programs (health, life, disability, pension, etc.), including vendor negotiations.
  • Develop and deploy wellbeing initiatives tailored to the Brazilian workforce.
What we’re looking for:
  • 10+ years of experience in Compensation & Benefits in Brazil, ideally in digital, entertainment, or e-commerce industries.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience.
  • Experience with M&A, union negotiations, and wellbeing program management.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
  • Deep knowledge of Brazilian labor laws, social security, and statutory benefits.
  • Fluency in English (advanced) and Spanish (intermediate).
  • Proficiency in Workday and other HRIS platforms.
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, HR, or related fields (mandatory).
  • MBA or postgraduate degree from a business school (preferred).
