At Disney Experiences Technology (DXT), our team creates world-class immersive digital experiences for the Company’s premier vacation brands including Disney’s Parks & Resorts worldwide, Disney Cruise Line, Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, and Disney Vacation Club. The Disney Experiences Technology team is responsible for the end-to-end digital and physical Guest experience for all technology & digital-led initiatives across the Attractions & Entertainment, Food & Beverage, Resorts & Transportation, and Merchandise lines of business as well as other initiatives including the MyDisneyExperience app and Hey, Disney!

Now, we’re looking for a seasoned Product Management leader to guide us through the next era of innovation. This pivotal role will drive the strategic vision and execution of our Photo Imaging digital products and experiences, directly impacting our Guests' magical memories across all Disney destinations.

As Manager, Product Management, you will own the end-to-end product delivery lifecycle for Disney Photo Imaging (DPI) digital initiatives, working at the intersection of technology innovation and Guest experience excellence. You’ll work at the intersection of technology innovation and Guest experience excellence, not only defining product strategies but also ensuring sustained success through effective performance management, professional development, and team building.

This role reports to the Senior Manager, Product Management and works collaboratively with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, designers, and business stakeholders.

What You'll Do:

Product Strategy & Vision

  • Define and execute comprehensive product strategy for Disney Photo Imaging digital products and experiences
  • Develop data-driven strategies aligned with business objectives to drive revenue, margin improvement, and Guest satisfaction metrics
  • Create and maintain product vision that balances Guest needs, business objectives, and technical feasibility
  • Establish clear OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) and enable product teams to develop outcome-based roadmaps
  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities and product innovations in imaging technology
     

Product Development & Delivery

  • Lead end-to-end product development lifecycle from concept through launch and optimization
  • Translate product concepts into detailed user stories, epics, requirement documents, test cases, and acceptance criteria
  • Manage product roadmap prioritization across multiple teams and disciplines
  • Drive agile development processes ensuring timely, on-budget, and on-strategy delivery
  • Own quality assurance and user acceptance testing processes
     

Stakeholder Management & Leadership

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with diverse stakeholder groups from end users to C-level executives
  • Serve as the primary business subject matter expert for Photo Imaging platform capabilities
  • Provide consistent point of contact and accountability for partner product and business needs
  • Facilitate alignment between technology, operations, UX design, analytics, marketing, and executive teams
  • Present strategic recommendations and business cases to senior leadership
     

Team Leadership

  • Lead recruiting efforts, and onboard new team members; ensuring diverse, inclusive hiring practices.
  • Set clear expectations, conduct regular reviews and 1:1s, provide constructive feedback, recognize achievements, and address performance issues with care and fairness.
  • Create tailored growth plans for each team member, foster mentoring and skill-building opportunities, allocate resources for training, and support career aspirations.
  • Assign responsibilities based on team strengths and goals, balance workloads effectively, remove blockers, and promote collaboration across functions.
     

Business Operations & Growth

  • Drive P&L performance through strategic product decisions and optimization
  • Negotiate and manage third-party vendor contracts and long-term partnerships
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies in partnership with Marketing and Public Affairs teams
  • Monitor and analyze product performance metrics to identify growth opportunities
  • Manage fiscal responsibilities for large-scale sophisticated product lines and projects
     

Technical Leadership & Innovation

  • Provide technical guidance on mobile, web, and native application development strategies
  • Champion adoption of emerging technologies including machine learning and computer vision
  • Ensure platform scalability and reliability across backend services and infrastructure
  • Drive technical architecture decisions that support long-term product vision
  • Stay current with industry trends and competitive landscape

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience with at least 8 years in digital product management
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling consumer-facing digital products
  • Experience managing complex products across mobile (iOS/Android) and web platforms
  • Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and operational improvements through product innovation
  • Experience with photo/imaging products or related digital media technologies
  • Strong understanding of front-end and back-end development technologies and architectures
  • Experience with API design, microservices, and cloud-based infrastructure
  • Familiarity with agile/scrum methodologies and product management tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of data analytics platforms and ability to derive insights from complex datasets
  • Understanding of user experience design principles and usability best practices
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with ability to influence at executive level
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Experience presenting to and influencing C-level executives and board members
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with ability to build compelling business cases
  • Strategic thinking balanced with tactical execution capabilities

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent work experience
     

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

  • MBA or Master's degree in relevant field
  • Background in photography, digital imaging, or photo-sharing platforms
  • Experience in entertainment, hospitality, or theme park industries
  • Knowledge of Disney Parks and Disney Cruise Line operations and Guest experience principles
  • PMP or other product management certifications
  • Experience with global product launches and international markets
  • Proficiency with emerging technologies (AR/VR, AI/ML, IoT)
